Couple of monochromatic cards this time

A couple of cards I made a few days ago....sorry I'm only now getting around to posting them!  Mostly I post them here so I can keep a record for myself of cards I've made for OWH, but I DO love it if others peek here and are kind enough to leave a comment if they have a moment---it really is appreciated more than you know!    thanks for looking!

These are so pretty - the concept will make great autumn cards too! I work my blog much the same way - for posterity AND for feedback. That's a cool embossing folder; did you use a brayer to ink the raised diamonds? I gotta get me one of those. TFS!

I'm so going to have to CASE your design for these cards! They're fabulous! What a great way to use up scraps too! NJ on them both!

Well, thanks everyone for your kind comments! You're all very nice!

I don't have a brayer and just used my Tim Holtz sponge ink applicator tool to brush across the embossed surface while trying to just stay up on top and not get ink down into the crevices. The embossing folder is a sizzix, but I don't know the name.

Love the colors and the embossing! The ink on the raised embossed surface really stands out with the applied ink! TFS!
